Conversations with Land, Home, & Place

Every land, home, workplace, and gathering space has its own spirit, history, rhythms, and way of being in the world. Places remember. They respond. They support life in their own unique ways.

Conversations with Land, Home, & Place are an opportunity to begin or deepen a relationship with the places that hold your life. These conversations are less about “fixing” a space and more about listening, becoming acquainted, and learning how you and the land may come into a more supportive and easeful relationship with one another.

Just as we get to know a place over time, the land also comes to know us our presence, our intentions, the way we care for it, and the way we live within it. Often, when relationship begins to deepen, both the people and the place feel more settled, supported, and at ease.

Sometimes a space already feels welcoming and alive, and these conversations simply deepen connection and partnership. Other times a home, workplace, or piece of land may feel uncomfortable, resistant, heavy, difficult to settle into, or challenging to rent or sell. There may have been conflict, grief, illness, disruption, or other difficult experiences connected with the property. At times the land or home may simply be asking to be acknowledged, listened to, or brought back into balance and relationship.

We begin by speaking about your experiences with the space and your intentions for the relationship you hope to build with it. I then connect with the Spirit of Place, the land itself, along with the compassionate Ancestors, guardians, and helping spirits connected with it. I share what I perceive, along with simple and fitting ways you may begin to strengthen relationship through listening, acknowledgment, offerings, care, or practical acts of tending.

This work is rooted in respect, reciprocity, and relationship rather than control. It is an invitation to remember that the places we live with are not separate from us, but living relationships that can be nurtured over time.

If deeper healing, clearing, or tending work appears needed, it can be scheduled separately, though often the act of listening and beginning relationship brings meaningful shifts on its own.

Readings are conducted off site so the place may be perceived more fully as a whole rather than only through the immediate surroundings.
